Tackling Your Negatives

Yes ! There’s always a way out there to overcome your negatives which always make you feel something is dragging you down.

The points I discuss here may help you feel a bit better if you are a person who still hold onto the past and especially bitter memories. Everyone of us have such past which is not letting us grow in our present, ultimately we are the ones to be blamed in the future. So, it always helps us to know what is exactly stopping you from being happy and successful in your unique way.

Hanging onto the past is the most miserable thing most of us have. But, it’s never be an impossible thing to be overcome. Here are few things to know :

  • Loss of Connection with Reality : Carrying an opinion on others despite of knowing the truth can burden your heart. At the same time note that, others’ opinions are not your burden to carry. The reality is always the same i.e. neutral. But it’s impact may make few people think it’s wrong and others right. When you lose the ability to come up with the decisions that make you know what is right for you and what is wrong for you, you start to behave in such a way that it can hurt even your beloved ones.
  • Holding a Grudge : Holding a grudge is as easy as having a sip of water but remember water will never let you even touch when it’s super hot. Holding a grudge always involves a person (Friend/Neighbor/Co-worker/Relative/Classmate…) there by, every time you hear about that person or every time you see that person your mind will all of a sudden be filled with bitterness, anger and what not! That anger will destroy your inner peace at least for an hour.
  • Lack of Self-Love : Foremost thing you need to know is accepting yourself as YOU. You stalk others rather than concentrating on your activities thus you lose an opportunity to know yourself better. You will carry a fixed mindset which never lets you say HI to a fresh start. In the long run it will become difficult to come up with your strengths to overcome your negatives and a feeling of being avoided will settle into your bleak thoughts.

Knowing your gloomy things which are making you stick to your past is only one side of the coin. Knowing the other side of the coin may help you out to get rid of that baggage that you are carrying from your past. Here they are :

  • Accept the Reality : Accepting the real YOU and reality does not mean that you now want what you don’t want. It’s not an act of a failure and one should never treat it as a choice-less choice. Accepting something is to put your faulty opinions aside and taking decisions to not care about the things that make you feel low and to make your restless heart relaxed. This is simply meant to imply the courage that you have to let go of the stuff that let you down.
  • Becoming more Forgiving : People who have no time to talk to their parents have time to think of the people who once had hurt them. Eventually, they increase the tendency to increase their faults. Give a minute thought to your mind to not stick to sad parts of your past instead train it to remember the good ones. Your heart can be tuned to treat yourself even much better by not paying attention to the wrong people in your life.
  • Know Your Worth : You are the one who can love yourself the right way. It’s not being narcissistic or egoistic, It’s just being in love with yourself and accepting your imperfections and making them perfect in your own way. You need no courage to initiate a fresh start, all that you need is a desire. Just list down all your interests and prioritize them, then choose a few from it to put into implementation. That’s how you can land your interest as a habit thus making your life easier.
